Fill the Verse
Fill the Verse is a small puzzle with a new verse each day. A few of the words are blanked out, and below the verse is a bank of words to choose from. Some of them belong and some are decoys. Put each word where you think it goes.
You get five tries. After each try the puzzle tells you which words landed in the right place, so you can fix the rest. Most days it takes two or three guesses if you know your Bible, and a little longer if you do not. That is the point. You learn the verse by working at it.
When you finish, the game makes a little grid of squares showing how you did, with no spoilers in it. Copy it and send it to your cousin or post it in the church group chat and see who got it in fewer tries.
There is also a Guess the Book round, where you read a verse and name the book it comes from. Come back tomorrow for a new one.
